4. Condition assessment

Scored per the Condition Scoring & Rating Model (six standards-referenced dimensions, 0–4 on the P-scale). Rating is gated — a single safety/structural P2 breach sets RED regardless of the averaged Index.

DimensionScoreGradeObservation
Electrical safety & compliance2Moderate (P3)Direct-contact / earthing / labelling integrity
Structural & enclosure integrity0None observedNone observed
Corrosion & protective coating2Moderate (P3)Corrosion of fixings, bars and coatings; general fouling
Ingress protection2Moderate (P3)Sealing of penetrations against dust / water ingress
Access & working space3Major / safety (P2)Door opening arc and working-space clearance
Thermal / fire & component0None observedNone observed
Rationale. The gated rating is RED, driven by a non-compliant door / working-space clearance (AS/NZS 3000 Cl 2.10), corrosion to fixings and bars and unsealed penetrations / ingress (Condition Index 38.8/100). RED reflects a gate breach — a safety/structural P2 or an AS/NZS 3000 Cl 2.10 clearance non-compliance — that cannot be averaged away.

5. Defects

Field-observed defect(s) for this board, itemised into discrete findings — each with its own priority and category.

RefCategoryDefectPri
D-01 Clearance Non-compliant door / working-space clearance P2
D-02 Housekeeping Internal dust / dirt accumulation P4
D-03 Ingress Unsealed cable penetrations at base / gland plate P3
D-04 Corrosion Significant rust / corrosion to enclosure, fixings and bars P3
D-05 Electrical Cabling arrangement / condition concern P3

6. Suitability for the LED works

Suitability for LED worksYES

The new LED floodlight load and driver footprint are materially smaller than the legacy HID gear removed, and the existing 3-phase supply, 35 mm² feed and cabinet isolation are adequate for the new works. This conclusion is universal across the fleet and is independent of condition.

7. Photographic evidence

16 site photographs. Frames outlined in orange are keyed to a priority defect (fire, structural, access or ingress evidence).
